Why are there no precursers to horse shoe crabs, and certain flies, to which the name i do not recall..
on another note, could aligators in your opinion be scaled down dinosaurs like the Leviathan spoke of in the bible and could a Behemoth the bible refers to be an actual dinosaur?
* It “eats grass like an ox.”
* It “moves his tail like a cedar.” (In Hebrew, this literally reads, “he lets hang his tail like a cedar.”)
* Its “bones are like beams of bronze,
His ribs like bars of iron.”
* “He is the first of the ways of God.”
* “He lies under the lotus trees,
In a covert of reeds and marsh.”
If evolutionist theory is correct?
There is a precursor to the horseshoe crab, it's called a trilobite.
Reply:it's already been demostrated that the horeshoe crab has a predecessor, and I how can anyone be expected to refute what you stated about an unnamed fly?
Reply:do you have any idea how hard would it be for a fly to be preserved as a fossil? they don't have bones
and horse shoe crabs practically haven't evolved at all, their actual form works for them, so why change
Reply:Not again.
You really need to get an education, and biased religious sources aren't an education, because everything you just said is lies or just plain wrong.
Reply:Give Evolution the 2,000 years that Christianity has had to perfect their theories, and Evolutionary Proofs will take the place of religion.
Reply:Yes, crocodiles are thought to have survived the mass extinction that took out the dinosaurs.
Reply:I'm not a dinosaur - I breathed fire in the book of Job, remember?
Reply:Questions like this are a waste of time. You use a Christan website as the source, you believe the Bible is true, what's the point of trying to explain anything to you. Go take a biology class.
And it's THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION, or simply EVOLUTION, as in EVOLUTION vs. CREATIONISM. It is not called "evolutionist theory"
Reply:A creature that is successful and is fortunate enough to weather worldwide changes in climate and apocalyptic disasters is obviously well adapted and not in need of further evolution. The horse shoe crab goes back to a time even before dinosaurs. It fits well within the theory of evolution and in fact is used as a topic of study in evolution. The same is true of flies. They both are simple creatures. Creatures that are far more complicated and dependent on a somewhat stable environment are more susceptible to extinction.
To answer the second question, dinosaurs and alligators are related. They coexisted during some of the same periods in history. In relation to the Bible question and quotes, the answer is just no.
I am sure if you had wanted to do a little research you could have found these answers for yourself, but I assume you really don't want an answer and just want to pretend you have some sort of silly proof that evolution is incorrect. Well, you are wrong.
Reply:I think evolution does exist at some extent and explains the way certain species developed, but there are definite holes in the theory, too, and it doesn't seem to explain the huge diversification we see in different species today.
Reply:Extinction, baby.
Reply:May I suggest you read "A Short History of Almost Everything" by Bill Bryson. It is a layman's look at the state of knowledge.
