I was there, but the other trees didn%26#039;t see me--whew! This could explain why no tree bothered to make a sound, either. Apparently the age-old debate is finally over, as the tree made no sound. Go figure!
I was bent over tying my shoes at the time, when I caught just a glimpse of the falling tree in the adjacent woods. Expecting a loud, reverberating crash, imagine my disjointed dismay when no sound emerged. I held perfectly still, in case it had withheld its sound on purpose. Nope. So, world...now we know. Good thing I got outta there without being spotted, huh?
Wait...what%26#039;s that SOUND?! OMG! The TREES! They FOUND ME! Gotta go!
(LMAO)
A TREE just fell in the forest, but it made no sound...?
don%26#039;t let those trees get you, or you%26#039;ll end up chained to a rock with an eagle pecking at your liver
Yeah, it%26#039;s THAT important...
LOL
Reply:I tell you this trully.
I once far-ted in church and the guy sitting 2 away from me was suddenly chastised by his wife (next to me) and his little daughter in the church aisle.
My far-t travelled along the pew, past one person and exited where someone else was sitting.
Now I cant throw far-ts like a ventriloquest, and I dont know where the sound of your falling tree went to, but when I have a far-t that cant be heard, the chances are you will know it well
Reply:How far were you away?
Of course trees make sounds when they fall. Put a mic in the woods near a tree nearly felled just before a wind storm is coming, and it will pick up plenty of thud. This tree must have been falling slowly because other trees slowed its fall.
Reply:At last I have found myself in compatible company. I have upthumbed everyone who responded.
Reply:Uh yeah, that%26#039;s because the other trees supported his/her/its fall.
Reply:I agree with bean bean,
I didn%26#039;t even bother read the whole thing, frankly.
Reply:The only thing worse than bad plumbing is bad philosophy.
Reply:Hopefully that stupid question will never appear on here ever again. Thank you.
