I have a mulberry tree outside my house. Augh! How can I get it out of my carpets? It is dried and STAINED!?

It is dried and stickey and black and gross!! The stain is when you frist come in the house! We have tried everything!! Taking shoes off!! Rugs. It is right outside where we park our car and we rent our house! We hose our side walk off every day and our porch gets sticky! And with kids it is hard to keep the side walk mulberry free all day long! And they love to run in and out all day! Any ideas on how to clean the stains out? We have tried all the cleaners..

try to just spray some ammonia and water on the stain and then clean it with steam cleaner or shampooer it works very well on stains and wont change the color
Reply:cut the tree down and ,then get new carpets
Reply:To get that stain off ur floor, you can get the new thing, if u have seen the commercial, where u just squeeze, rub, groom, and dOnE! it works, i have it, i just forgot what its called.
Reply:I had a Mulberry tree in my backyard with the same problem. The only thing you can do is encourage your kids to eat the mulberries right off the tree. Many warm days were spent in the back on chairs in the backyard, picking, eating, and laughing. Wonderful memories! I solved the problem by making everyone take off their shoes at the door. Each person had flip flops or other shoes to wear inside the house instead. It is just impossible to keep off your floors otherwise. It is an easy solution and everyone catches on quickly. Problem solved. Be sure you put those mulberry shoes on a rug!
Reply:Folex is AWESOME!!!! Don%26#039;t ask me why, but at one point in time I had mint green carpet and the kids spilled welch%26#039;s grape juice on it...Folex completely removed the stain.

Try having the children remove their shoes before they come in the house, or have a scratch pad for them to wipe their shoes one.

I would also recommend sweeping the berries and not washing them, that%26#039;s just a waste of water.
