What can i do besides using shoe trees to prevent creases or wrinkles in dress shoes just above the toes? Are the more expensive dress shoes less prone to wrinkling?
Preventing dress shoes creasing/wrinkling?
Try stuffing them with socks or paper when they are not being worn. You could also keep the little plastic/cardboard shapers that come in the shoe when you buy them. Most dress shoes are prone to some sliight creasing after awhile. Just take care of them and they should last sometime. :)
Reply:a simple way to not crease the shoe is to put one coat of water proofer on the toe box this may sound weird but i%26#039;ve tried it and it works because it%26#039;s absorbing moisture and remember if moisture doesnt get absorbed it eventually cracks down this may or may not work on certain jordans Report It
Reply:No, more expensive shoes are more fragile and will crease and scratch easier. try polishingng the shoe. it will polishi it and temporally take out winkles. meanwhile the trees are your best bet.
